Shunji Iwas has attracted many followers as his fresh and original style is called 'Iwai Aesthetics', including his 1995 classic set in Otaru, Love Letter, which have won many awards, and Hana and Alice, which also had a Web version.
A series of 5 short films, all of which starts from a bed.
Main casts include Yuki Suzuki, a model and the winner of Nonno Boy Contest Grand Prix, Minehiro Kinomoto, who plays in a TV series, Kamen Rider W, Motoki Ochiai, who appeared in a TV drama series, The Gokusen, and Erina Mano from a Japanese pop idol collective, Hello! Project. There will be guest appearances at the screening.
Secret of Script Writing in Hollywood
A Lecture and talk session with Barry Morrow, who is a member of
jury at this year's festival.
He will tell us the stories how he came about to write the script of Rain Man in Hollywood.
