Haruomi Hosono was born in Tokyo in 1947. A musician. Debuted as a member of psychedelic rock band “April Fool” in 1969. Formed the Happy End in 1970. Started as a solo musician in 1973, and also worked as a “Tin Pan Alley”. Formed “Yellow Magic Orchestra” (YMO). After YMO disbanded, he quests for world music and ambient music, and works as a producer, composer and in the variety fields. April, 2011, he released long-awaited solo album “ HoSoNoVa”.

Lim Soon Rye

Born in 1961. Graduated from Universite Vincennes A Saint-Denis, Paris majoring in Film Studies. Her film “Waikiki Brothers”(2001) received well recognition for her direction and received an award at The PaekSang Arts Awards.
Her directed film “Forever the Moment” (2007) generated more than 4 million audiences after the theater release. And awarded Best Film Award at The Blue Dragon Film Awards, Best Film at The PaekSang Arts Awards and Special Jury Award at The Pusan Film Critics Awards. She became one of the most recognized filmmaker in Korea.
Her recent emphasized activity as a director of KARA(Korean Animal Rights Advocates) leads to direct several animal related films.

Kazuyoshi Kumakiri

Kazuyoshi Kumakiri

Born in 1974 in Hokkaido, Japan. He graduated from Osaka University of Arts’Visual Concept Planning Department. His thesis film “Kichiku” was awarded second place at the 20th PIA Film Festival and it received high acclaim. The film was officially invited to be screened in more than 10 other international film festivals such as the Panorama section of the 48th Berlin International Film Festival. It also won the Grand Prize at the 28th Taormina International Film Festival in Italy.
His PFF (PIA Film Festival) scholarship film, “Hole in the Sky” was officially invited to the Young Forum section of the 51st Berlin International Film Festival, and also it was awarded the RIPRESCI Prize in the 30th Rotterdam International Film Festival. Since then he has been exhibiting a series of works such as his films, “ANTENNA” (which attracted public attention at the 60th Venice International Film Festival) and “Volatile Woman”, ”Green Mind, Metal Bats” , “Freesia: Bullet Over Tears” and “NON-KO”.
As his film “Sketches of Kaitan City”was released in December 2010, he led professional actors and city locals around Hokkaido in a group collaboration further increasing his recognition and his sense of production. This work became an award-winner at many festivals such as the 23rd TOKYO International Film Festival, the 12th Cine Manila International Film Festival, winner of the Matsumoto CINEMA Select Award in 2010, the 25th Takasaki Film Festival, as well as the Jury prize at the 13th Deauville Asian Film Festival.

Founded creative hybrid in Tokyo in 2002 as a production and management company for directors and animation talent, with clients and partners across various sectors of the Japanese and international creative industries.
Andrew was born in Manchester, England, and has lived in Tokyo since 1996, originally working with Japanese broadcasting companies and advertising agencies on marketing and promotional campaigns, as well as creative and programming development. Between 1999-2005, he was involved in the Japan launch & tour events of the highly-regarded international digital film festivals Resfest (US) and onedotzero (UK), and has previously programmed & curated selections of feature films, shorts and music promos from Japan for various international film festivals, including the very popular ‘Mirrorball: Made in Japan’ screenings at Edinburgh IFF.
