FILMMAKERS’ PROGRAMME
Yianni Warnock
Australia
Yianni Warnock is a Sydney-based filmmaker. Raised in the secluded Victorian farmlands, he re-located to inner city Melbourne at the age of 17 to study cinema and philosophy.
Yianni more recently completed a Masters at the Victorian College of the Arts where he made both Man on Earth and Playpals, which have both had very rich festival lives, Internationally and locally at the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF). Yianni’s third short film Happy with Bear had its International premiere at SXSW, 2015. His latest short, Homebodies, had its world premiere at Clermont-Ferrand 2016 and American premiere in SXSW 2016.
Yianni is currently writing his first feature film.
