Johannes Nyholm was born 1974 in Umeå, Sweden. Artist in the fields of film, video and animation. Has made a few short films, some animated, and a bunch of music videos. His films have won several awards and been shown around the world at some of the world's most prestigious festivals, most notably two selections at Director´s Fortninght in Cannes and Annecy. Runs the production company Joclo.

This year, the festival has selected the very best 93 films out of 2,723 submissions from 78 countries and areas. The selections are made by the SSF committee and international judges to give 2 Grand Prix and 19 Judge Awards, Audience Award and the Best Film Festival Award. Audience Award is elected by the audience.

The Möbius Trophy
The Möbius Trophy is awarded to each winner of two Grand Prix in One Title Section and Filmmaker's Section. A strip of film (short film) symbolises the Möbius strip, which is an infinite loop.
