In 1996 Nick Goldsmith founded Hammer & Tongs with his college friends Garth Jennings and Dominic Leung. Hammer & Tongs went on to become one of the most established music video production companies around, among the many iconic videos are FatBoy Slim "Right here, right now", Blur "Coffee and TV" and REM "Imitation of Life". After cutting their teeth in the world of music videos and commercials Hammer & Tongs went on to make Their first feature film "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" with Garth Directing and Nick producing. The big budget Disney backed film, went on to top both the UK and US box office charts and starred Martin Freeman, Zooey Deschanel, Sam Rockwell and Mos Def. After the success of Hitchhikers Nick and Garth went on to make Son of Rambow; a coming of age film about two boys making the sequel to Rambo on their home video camera. Nick is now working on various other projects with other directors.
