We are starting accept new entries for the 16th International Short Film competition from Feb.8. The submissions are accepting from filmfreeway.com

REQUIREMENTS
- Genre: All (including music video)
- A film less than 30 minutes including credits
- Completed after January 1, 2020
- No Screening fee for selected films
- Accepting online and physical screening: Japan only or global(optional)
- Screening formats Apple ProRes or H.264, No DCP
- Screening and preview file must be subtitled in English if the main language is not English. No closed captioning.
- All films must have an English/International title

SUBMISSION FEE

- Early Bird Entry: February 8th to 30th
Submission fee: 5 USD
Free submission fee for Student School Film

- Regular Entry: March 1st to April 4th
Submission fee: 20 USD
Submission fee: 10 USD for Student School Film

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: ONE TITLE SECTION
Requirements:
1) Films completed after January 1, 2019
2) Maximum duration: 30 min
3) Country of production: All countries
4) Screening format: Apple ProRes with English Subtitles, MP4
5) Accepted genres: All genres, including music video, online video.

Other criteria:
6) Music rights: cleared
7) Dialogues: If the dialogue language is not English, preview copy and screening film must be subtitled in English
8) Short Film Market: All the submission will be registered to the short film market.

*No premiere status required in Japan and accept web streamed shorts as well.
*Any documentary about SDGs subject films are also welcome.
