The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival

 Has been working for Sauve Qui Peut le Court Metrage (association running the Clermont-Fd Festival & Market) since its beginning (1979). Every year in late January / early February, the Clermont-Fd Short Film Festival presents some 400 short films in 10 different venues to an audience of approximately 130,000 spectators. The Market draws 2800 professionals.
Gonin is mainly involved in the International and Market section.
Member of the International competition committee, scouting films from USA, Asia, Iran and Australia.
In charge of the Festival & Market data base, the web site and the digitization of the video archives of the Documentation Center and for the Market video Library.
Gonin, whose dream is to establish a museum dedicated to magic lanterns and steroscopic viewers, has directed 2 shorts and worked on several others

Derek Zemrak
California Independent Film Festival
Festival Founder & President
 Zemrak is the Founder and President of the California Independent Film Festival Association. CIFF was founded in 1999, and is the fastest growing film festival in California, screening over 500 independent films from across the United States and from around the world. CIFF's gala tribute night has honored such Hollywood Legends as Cloris Leachman, Martin Landau, Tony Curtis and Rita Moreno.
He wrote, directed and produced three feature films. He is currently producing a feature length children's animated film entitled "Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm", which is planned to bereleased in 2008.
He resides in San Ramon with his wife Kaori and 8-year-old son Reno.

Peter Barakan
Broadcaster
 Born in London in 1951. Graduated Japanese department of School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, in 1973, and has been living in Tokyo since 1974. Has worked in broadcasting since 1980, with particular emphasis on introducing a wide variety of music from different parts of the world to a public that is often force-fed only what is commercially convenient for large corporations. Currently hosts a weekly free-form radio programme in addition to the Japanese broadcast of the US news magazine show 60 Minutes. Also co-hosts a weekly talk show "Weekend Japanology" in English for public broadcaster NHK's foreign satellite service NHK World, introducing different aspects of Japanese culture to an international audience. Has written several books including a beginnerユs guide to soul music, and and a book explaining some of the subtleties of rock lyrics for Japanese readers.

Monkey Punch
MANGA Artist
 Monkey Punch (born 1937, Hokkaido) moved to Tokyo in 1957 and at age 20 published the fanzine Doujinshi along with his fellow animation aspirants. In 1965 his debut professional works "Manga story" and メPlayboy nyuumonモwere published. The success of these works led to a prolific period of work published under his assumed name of Monkey Punch and included works in the genres of science fiction, western, and modern fiction. In 1967 he started the comic series "Lupin the 3rd" and was rewarded with a prize at the San Diego INKPOT comedy convention. He is currently working for "Senya ichiya monogatari". (Chuou-kouron-sya).

ALAN J. LEVI
Director / Producer
 Born in St. Louis, Missouri. A graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Radio, TV and Film, Alan has directed and/or photographed over 2000 hours of live and videotaped television around the world, and functioned as Director of Photography and Director for over 450 primetime network commercials before landing a job as Associate Producer at MGM. Director and/or Director of Photography on the acclaimed "Up Close and Personals" for the 1972 and 1976 Olympics, and over 350 hours of network television over the past nearly 30 years which included Movies-of-the-Week, pilots and miniseries such as "Battlestar Galactica", "The Incredible Hulk", "Columbo", "Knightrider 2000" and "The Stepford Children". Among the series he's directed are "ER", "NCIS", "JAG", "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer", "Magnum, P.I.", "Miami Vice" , "Bionic Woman" and "Six Million Dollar Man". His directing credits have earned him a Cannes Film Festival Gold Lion, two New York International TV and Film Festival Grand Awards, two Clio Awards and several Silver Spikes.

SONDRA CURRIE
Actress
 Born in Los Angeles to actress Marie Harmon. She went on to star in numerous features (among them, cult favorites Jessieユs Girls and Policewomen). She has guest-starred on over 75 TV shows (most recently ER, JAG, Seventh Heaven) and she is now filming a Hallmark Movie of the Week to be aired next March. Plus several Movies of the Week (including starring roles in two Columbo specials, Kid Cop, The Secretary and Dark Horizon) and, yes, even a soap. She and her husband, renowned producer/director Alan J. Levi, have a production company (LUMINA PICTURES and ENTERTAINMENT LTD.) They have several projects in development at Warner Bros. She does theatre every chance she gets (most recently メThe Womenモ) and has successfully produced several plays including "The Chesterfield Woman". She is a founding member of The Theatre Group at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and is a member of the prestigious ''Theatre West''.
